Healthcare

HVAC Cleaning Where the Air Matters Most

  • Hospitals
  • Surgical and day clinics
  • Long-term care and assisted living
  • Medical and dental offices
  • Labs
  • Pharmacies

Healthcare buildings run their ventilation around the clock, and the people breathing that air are often the ones least able to cope with dust, mould spores or odours. Recent projects include work at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Richmond Hospital and Kelowna General Hospital, done as part of larger mechanical contracts.

Our team is trained in enhanced protocols for sensitive environments. We plan the work with your facilities and infection prevention staff, clean in sections so the rest of the building keeps running, and leave a certificate and photo report you can file.

What's Different About Healthcare Work

Infection control comes first

Canadian hospitals plan maintenance work around CSA Z317.13, the standard for infection control during construction, renovation and maintenance of health care facilities. We work inside the precautions your infection prevention team sets for each area, including containment and negative-air setups.

The building never closes

Wards, emergency departments and care homes are occupied 24 hours a day. We phase the job by zone and by night, so each area is out of service for as short a time as possible.

Sanitizing you can stand behind

After source-removal cleaning, we can apply Benefect Decon 30 through the system. It's a plant-based disinfectant registered with Health Canada, used by mould remediation and restoration companies, and it's what we use in our hospital and clinic work.

Paperwork for the file

Facility managers need records for audits and accreditation. Every job ends with a Certificate of Completion and a before-and-after photo report: which systems and areas were cleaned, how, and anything we noticed that needs attention.

How We Work

Our team is forklift and rope access certified, so rooftop units, high-ceiling ductwork and industrial ventilation are all in scope.

  1. Site Review & Scheduling

    • We walk the site or review drawings before quoting, and plan the work around your occupants: nights, weekends or phased by floor.
  2. Protection & Safety

    • Drop cloths, corner guards and signage go up first. Our crews follow lockout/tag-out and confined-space procedures and are WorkSafeBC compliant.
  3. Source-Removal Cleaning

    • HEPA-filtered negative-air vacuuming and compressed-air agitation through supply, return and exhaust ductwork, to the NADCA ACR Standard.
  4. Equipment & Components

    • AHUs, MAUs and RTUs, coils, VAV boxes, diffusers and grilles cleaned as scoped. New access openings are closed to SMACNA and UL 181 requirements.
  5. Certificate & Photo Report

    • Every job ends with a Certificate of Completion and a before-and-after photo report for your facility file: what was cleaned, where, and anything we noticed that needs attention.
